The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) was instructed by Municipal Administration and Urban Development Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar to speed up the Uppal and Mehdipatnam skywalks works. On Saturday, 2nd Jan, he reviewed the developments of various works here.

HMDA planned a 3d model of the skywalk at Uppal at its office. Arvind Kumar instructed them to communicate with officials and complete the works of skywalks as scheduled.

For developing infrastructure within the Outer Ring Road and municipalities on the city's outskirts, HMDA played a key role and wanted officials to concentrate this year on enhancing public infrastructure and planning work.

Although a few projects were delayed due to the pandemic impact of Covid-19 in 2020, instructions were given to officials to ensure that all work, especially public infrastructure, would be completed as planned in 2021.
