We bring to you the new releases on various OTT platforms this week so that you can stay home, stay safe, as well as entertained.

From Abhishek Bachchan's The Big Bull on Disney+ Hotstar to Aadar Jain-starrer Hello Charlie on Amazon, there are a couple of films and web series that will keep you glued to the screens this weekend.

ON DISNEY+HOTSTAR

The Big Bull

The Big Bull is inspired by true events based on the stock market scam by infamous stockbroker Harshad Mehta, who was often called the Big Bull of the Dalal Street. Abhishek Bachchan plays the lead role in the film and Ileana D'Cruz plays the role of a journalist. The Big Bull started streaming on April 8 and is directed by Kookie Gulati.

Hello Charlie

Aadar Jain and Jackie Shroff are set to take us on a fun ride in Hello Charlie. The film is directed by Pankaj Saraswat. Jackie plays the role of a fraudster, who is finding different ways to leave Mumbai after committing various bank frauds. Chirag Rastogi (fondly called Charlie), on the other hand, has come to Mumbai to start a new life. Their paths cross when Charlie is given the task of transporting a guerilla. It starts streaming on April 9.

Joji

Director Dileesh Pothan and writer Syam Pushkaran joined hands for Joji, which is adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth. Joji played by Fahadh Faasil, is an engineering dropout and the youngest son of the rich plantation family, who aspires to become a super wealthy NRI. His father sees down on him and thinks of him as nothing more than a loser. Driven by greed and blind ambition, Joji finally decides to execute his plans following an unexpected event in the family. Well Done Baby

This Marathi film revolves around the life of a young couple, who are expecting their first baby. The story focuses on their journey together before and after the good news. The film stars Pushkar Jog, Amruta Khanvilkar and Vandana Gupte in lead roles. It started streaming today, April 9.

THEM

Them is a series that talks about the horror black families faced in America. The show is set in the 1950s when a Black family moved to an all-white Los Angeles neighbourhood during The Great Migration.

Thunder Force

If you are a superhero geek, then you can watch Thunder Force this weekend. Thunder Force is an action-comedy about two estranged childhood best friends, portrayed by Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer, who reunite to become an unlikely crime-fighting superhero duo when one invents a formula that gives ordinary people superpowers. The film is set in a world where super-villains are commonplace, and the duo decides to take them down and protect their city. It starts streaming on April 9.

Night in Paradise

Night in Paradise is a Korean crime drama directed by Park Hoon-jung. The film narrates the story of Park Tae-goo, whose sister and nephew are murdered when he tries to leave his gang. While running away from dangerous mobsters, he's stuck on an island, where he meets a mysterious woman, who changes the course of his destiny. If you are into Korean films and shows, then you cannot miss this one. It starts streaming on April 9.

The Big Day Collection 2

The Big Day is back with its second season and this time, much like Season 1, the show will focus on some of the most luxurious weddings in India. With their extravagant setups and picture-perfect frames, every episode is a delight to watch. The Big Day: Collection 2 premiered on April 7.

Love Gone Missing

Hosted by Rachel Lindsay (The Bachelor franchise) and Travis Mills, Ghosted: Love Gone Missing is a unique reality series that helps a lucky few people track down former lovers, friends, family members or relatives to reconnect with them. The motive of the show is to help people understand what went wrong in their relationship with their loved ones, who suddenly cut off all contact with them. The show is streaming on Voot Select.

11th Hour

Tamannaah is all set to make her digital debut with 11 Hour. She plays a businesswomen Aratrika Reddy who needs to fight her own battle to stay in the business. As several people take her for a ride, how she overcomes these obstacles to save her company follows the story of 11th Hour. The series also stars Adith Arun, Vamsi Krishna, Vikram Aditya, Shatru and Roshni Prakash in important roles.
