Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram to reveal that he has completed dubbing of his upcoming film Dhamaka. Mumbai went into a 15-day janta curfew on April 15.
Before Mumbai went into the 15-day janta curfew, Kartik Aaryan made sure that he completed dubbing for his upcoming Netflix film Dhamaka. The actor shared a photo of himself from the studio informing his fans and followers about completing dubbing before the lockdown commenced on April 15. The actor had recently recovered from Covid-19 and soon got back to work to fulfil his commitments.
WHAT DID KARTIK AARYAN POST?
Kartik Aaryan posted a photo of himself from a dubbing studio in Mumbai. He revealed that he completed dubbing for his next film Dhamaka before the janta curfew began. He wrote, "Dub khatam Lockdown shuru #Dhamaka (sic)."
The Maharashtra government has imposed a 15-day janta curfew in the state. The shooting of films and television shows have been put on hold. Only essential services are allowed to function during this time. Earlier, there was a night curfew and weekend lockdown imposed in Mumbai for the past couple of weeks.
KARTIK AARYAN SAYS HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO IN THE LOCKDOWN
Recently, Kartik Aaryan posted a selfie on Instagram and shared his dilemma with his followers. In the photo, the actor is seen sleepy as he doesn't know if he should get up or go back to sleep since it was lockdown. He wrote, "Uth jaoon ya ho raha hai Lockdown? (sic)."
Kartik Aaryan recently tested negative for Covid-19. Informing his fans and followers about his negative Covid report, he wrote, “Negative 14 din ka vanvaas khatam Back to work (sic).”
ABOUT DHAMAKA
Dhamaka is a film based on the workings of a news channel. Kartik Aaryan plays the role of a prime-time news anchor in the film. It has been shot in Mumbai during the novel coronavirus pandemic in a record 10 days. Necessary precautions were ensured, the entire unit of the film was tested for Covid-19 and was quarantined in a hotel before the commencement of the shoot.
Dhamaka is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and Ram Madhvani Films (with co-producer Amita Madhvani). The film was announced on November 22, on the occasion of Kartik Aaryan’s birthday last year.
Kartik Aaryan was shooting for his film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 when the actor tested positive for the virus. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also stars Kiara Advani, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav. Apart from this, Kartik also has Dostana 2 in the pipeline.
