IPL 2021: CSK pacer Deepak Chahar has hailed all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for his exceptional fielding and said that he wants 11 like him on the field. Jadeja grabbed an exceptional catch off Chahar's bowling to dimiss Chris Gayle on Friday.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja displayed his fielding brilliance all over again in team's clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Friday and his teammate Deepak Chahar wants 11 like him on the park now.

On the 5th ball of the third over, Ravindra Jadeja picked a ball at short cover in fraction of a second before rocketing it direct on the stumps to send PBKS captain KL Rahul back in the hut. But that was not enough for a very agile Ravindra Jadeja, considered one of the best fielders in the world.

On the 2nd ball of the fifth over, Jadeja made a full-fledged forward drive at short cover and ended up grabbing a spectacular low catch despite landing on his elbows. 'Universe Boss' was the victim this time.

Deepak Chahar, who scalped 4 wickets for 13 runs in the match, lauded the 32-year-old for his efforts and demanded 11 Jajdeja-like fielder on the field.

"First over, when the catch went to Ruturaj, it was a quick one, only Jaddu could've taken that so I was like he should've been there. He's one of the best in the world, has taken so many catches off my bowling. I want 11 Jaddus on the field. I am always the one who starts the tone for the match," Chahar said while receiving the Man of the Match award.

Further, the 28-year-old after registering his best IPL figures said that he has the responsibility of setting the tone for CSK by taking wickets or bowling maiden overs. The Agra-born also hoped for delivering on the faith shown by his captain MS Dhoni by giving 'few more' match-winning performances.

"I am always the one who starts the tone for the match. If I take a wicket or bowl a maiden over then obviously we can take the momentum. It's a big responsibility I've been having since the last four years and Mahi bhai has shown faith in me. Hopefully I can deliver in some more matches. As a bowler my plan is to bowl dots if I don't take wickets. The bowlers from the other end will also be able to take wickets."

CSK will next face Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Monday.
