Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday announced that the 2BHK houses located near Hussain Sagar would soon be handed over to beneficiaries.

The housing society built by the State government has 330 houses and are built in such a way that these structures also have a lake view. The houses were developed on a piece of land which once used to be a slum.

The Minister tweeted on Friday morning that he was delighted and proud to be handing over the houses.

“Delighted & proud to be handing over 330 of these lake view 2BHK homes built under #Telangana Govt’s #DignityHousing program Thanks to Hon’ble CM KCR Garu, an area that was a slum, has now been redeveloped & built in the heart of Hyderabad overlooking the famous Hussain Sagar😊,” (sic) tweeted the Minister.
