After reviewing the petition filed by actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, the court issued orders to register a case against the Minister, besides issuing summons to her to appear in person on December 12

Hyderabad: The Nampally Court issued summons to Forest Minister Konda Surekha to appear before the court on December 12 for hearing in connection with the defamation petition filed by Tollywood actor A Nagarjuna.

The Nampally Court had taken cognizance of the petition filed by the actor. After reviewing the petition, the court issued orders to register a case against the Minister, besides issuing summons to her to appear in person on December 12.

On October 3, the film actor had filed a criminal defamation case in Nampally court against the Minister, who had made derogatory comments against BRS working president KT Rama Rao and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu as well.

In the petition, Nagarjuna had informed the court that the Minister’s comments had defamed the actor and his family.
