The Hyderabad City Police, in response to one of the videos tagging them on Twitter, has assured to look into the matter.

 

Hyderabad: A video of a youngster leaving out from a car and slapping a man sleeping on the pavement has gone viral on social media with many asking the police to take action against the culprits.

In the 11-second video clip, a youngster is seen leaning out through the car window and slapping a person who is asleep on the pavement. Others in the car can be heard laughing while the man on the pavement jumps up surprised even as the car moves on.

 

The video clip was first posted on an Instagram account and later went viral on Facebook and Twitter apart from being shared widely on WhatsApp as well. The Hyderabad City Police, in response to one of the videos tagging them on Twitter, has assured to look into the matter.

Social activist Syed Abdahu Kashaf Quadri also tweeted the video and tagging the City Police Commissioner, Hyderabad City Police and other officers, demanded action against the youngsters.

While many have shared the video on social media asking the City Police to register a case and arrest the youngsters, complaints have been lodged with the Cybercrime wing and the local police as well.

According to sources, the incident is believed to have been recorded on the Tadbun road under the Kalapather police stations limits.
