Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh is currently captivating audiences across India with his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024. Ahead of his performance Sunday night in the Pink City, he was accorded a warm and regal reception by Princess Diya Kumari, a prominent member of the Jaipur royal family and Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister.

In an Instagram video, Dosanjh expressed his gratitude for the royal welcome, capturing the moment he arrived in style on a horse-drawn carriage. Dressed in a pristine white suit and black turban, he was seen walking alongside Princess Diya, who offered insights into the palace’s grandeur. The video also showcased a lavish dinner hosted by the royal family.

Princess Diya, granddaughter of Jaipur’s last Maharaja, Man Singh II, also shared the welcoming video on her Instagram account.

The singer also met Princess Diya’s children, Princess Gauravi Kumari, an up-and-coming fashion icon, and Sawai Padmanabh Singh, the de-facto unofficial Maharaja fondly known as ‘Pacho.’

Before the Jaipur concert, Dosanjh shared serene images from Nahargarh Fort, where he meditated at sunrise, and Amer Fort, where he fed pigeons.

The Dil-Luminati Tour has already drawn massive crowds in Delhi and is set to enthrall audiences in cities across India. Due to overwhelming demand, additional shows have been added in Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.

Earlier this year, Dosanjh made history by becoming the first Punjabi artist to headline Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium and the first Indian artist to grace the cover of Billboard Canada. His European tour, which included performances in Paris, London, Dublin, and Amsterdam, further solidified his global appeal.
