GATE 2025 Topper: For Biswas, clarity on topics is essential to crack the exam. He said that students should double-check on clarity and even solve previous year's questions to know what are there strengths and weakness in a concerned topic to increase accuracy. 

Swarnava Biswas from West Bengal has achieved a score of 82.67 out of 100 in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the GATE 2025 exam. Coming from a unique background, his father is a chess coach, while his mother is a professional photographer. With influences from both chess and photography, Biswas with his analytical and problem-solving skills, appeared for the GATE.

Belonging to a middle-class family in West Bengal, Swarnava wanted to crack GATE and IIT JEE Advanced to uplift his family’s financial condition. “I used to love problem-solving. Hence, I was always inclined towards competitive exams. That is how I ended up taking up the IIT-JEE exam and now the GATE exam,” he told indianexpress.com
