The woman who worked as a labourer stayed at a house in Indira Nagar, Chandrayangutta.

Hyderabad: A 55 year old woman was murdered by unidentified persons at her house in Chandrayangutta on Wednesday night.

The woman who worked as a labourer stayed at a house in Indira Nagar, Chandrayangutta .

Around midnight , the local residents noticed fire in the room of the woman and alerted the police.

On reaching the spot the police found body of the woman whose throat was slit with a knife.

The assailants after killing the woman set the body on fire to conceal the crime.

The police shifted the body for postmortem examination to Osmania Hospital mortuary. A case is registered. The police took one suspect into custody.
