Hyderabad will see hot and humid weather on Friday, with the IMD predicting evening thunderstorms, gusty winds, and light to moderate rain. Independent forecasts also warn of intense heat during the day, followed by heavy showers in parts of the city.

Hyderabad: The ongoing weather conditions in Hyderabad, consisting of intense spells of heat and humid conditions followed by scattered but intense downpour towards evening or night, is expected to continue on Friday.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad, in its Friday morning forecast said that there are very likely chances of light to moderate rain or intense thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds in the city towards evening or night. There will be mist or hazy conditions towards Friday evening and the early hours of Saturday, while the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 31 degree C and 22 degree C respectively, IMD-Hyderabad forecast indicated.

Meanwhile, independent weather forecaster T Balaji said Friday morning will again (like Thursday) have a spell of intense heat followed by severe thunderstorms.

“Today (Friday), till late afternoon/evening, it will be very hot and humid. Later, intense thunderstorms and heavy rains likely occurred in few places during evening and night. Till evening, mostly dry and very humid weather in Hyderabad,” he posted on X.
