According to the police, Md. Azar, 24 had been transporting the rice on his two-wheeler to one Abdul Rahman’s house in BJR Nagar when he was nabbed.
Hyderabad: Khairtabad police on Wednesday, November 5, seized 1000 kg of illegally stored PDS (subsidised) from a house in BJR Nagar.
According to the police, Md Azar, 24, had been transporting the rice on his two-wheeler to one Abdul Rahman’s house in BJR Nagar when he was nabbed.
When police reached the said house, they found 27 bags of rice. The accused, Abdul Rahman, was apprehended, and a case was registered.
Further investigation is underway.
