Bengaluru: Miraj Cinemas has expanded its footprint in Punjab with the launch of Miraj Cinemas Spectra Mall, Patiala, introducing its ‘Signature’ premium cinema format to the city. The four-screen multiplex is located on the second floor of Spectra Mall on Rajpura Road and marks the company’s continued focus on premium, experience-led cinema formats in regional markets.

The new multiplex houses four screens with a total seating capacity of 803 seats, offering a mix of regular seating and premium formats. The key highlight is Audi-04, which debuts Miraj Cinemas’ proprietary Signature format in Patiala. The Signature auditorium features 49 luxury recliner seats, an exclusive lounge area, and dedicated guest access, aimed at audiences seeking a more premium and comfort-driven movie-viewing experience.

Speaking on the launch, Bhuvanesh Mendiratta, Managing Director, Miraj Entertainment Ltd., said,  “Patiala has a strong cinema culture, and we wanted to build a property that truly improves the way people watch films here. With Miraj Cinemas – Spectra Mall, we have paid attention to every detail, from our Signature premium format and cinema technology to the overall look, comfort, and food experience. Today, audiences expect more than just a movie. They want to feel comfortable and enjoy the entire outing."

With this launch, Miraj Cinemas will operate four properties with twelve screens across Punjab, including Patiala. Additionally, four O&M properties with thirteen screens and two lease properties with eight screens are already in the pipeline.

Designed with a contemporary aesthetic, the multiplex features modern interiors, high-quality digital projection, immersive surround sound, and comfortable seating with clear sightlines across all auditoriums.

Food and beverage offerings at the property include three in-house formats: PopCornerChef Corner, and The Beanary Café, covering classic cinema snacks, freshly prepared hot food, and coffee-based beverages.

With this launch, Miraj Cinemas continues to expand its presence in Punjab while strengthening its focus on premium formats tailored for emerging urban markets.
