Rehearsals for the opening ceremony were held at the Gachibowli stadium on Thursday. Contestants practiced stage movements, choreographed entries, and cultural segments under the supervision of event coordinators.

In addition to contestant performances, the ceremony will include Indian and international cultural presentations. Over the next few weeks, participants will attend curated events highlighting Telangana’s heritage and innovation. The grand finale will be held on May 31 at HITEX Exhibition Centre.

The Telangana government sees the event as a platform to promote the state’s culture and tourism on the global stage.

The venue has been equipped with enhanced security measures, fire safety protocols, VIP enclosures, and media zones. The security measures are in addition to the ones in place following India’s military strike code named post Operation Sindoor. In the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, state police officials were instructed to detain Pakistani and Bangladeshi nationals staying illegally in the state.Revanth Reddy called for the establishment of a robust communication system at the Command Control Centre and warned of firm action against anyone disturbing peace and security.

Reddy also warned of strict action against any government employees making controversial remarks in the media or on social media platforms.
